Anthony Domzella

Anthony Domzella studied piano, composition and conducting at Wilfrid Laurier University. In 2022, Anthony was commissioned by the Conservation Halton to write for the Mounstberg Conservation Area’s WINTERLIT event. His 2023 piano trio, 'I am also underneath the water' was premiered at the Mostly Modern Festival by the Grammy-nominated Neave Trio. His work has been read by the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, the Penderecki String Quartet, the Odin Quartet, and the Laurier Singers. In concert, he has conducted the Laurier Symphony Orchestra, the Local Vocals choir, and premieres of his own works. Anthony is active in the Waterloo area as a recitalist, collaborative pianist, and music director.
Anthony has been teaching since 2017, with students having success in RCM exams, Kiwanis festivals and university exams. He has a passion for teaching all styles of piano, theory, composition, and songwriting. He joined the Sound Factory Music School faculty in the fall of 2023. |
