Next Workshop Coming Summer 2019!

60-75 mins per session
Only $22 per student!  (vs. $50 per hour privately)

The Sound Factory Music School's periodic brass workshops are designed to provide an introduction to beginner students who would like to explore the brass family of instruments in an irregular workshop based setting initially, for students with a little bit of experience in brass already, either through school, private or ensemble based instruction, and for more intermediate students who would like to improve their playing, sound, and overall skill-set.  Sessions are constructed according to age and level, in small groups of 3-8 students per group which allows for attention to each student as well as the general group.

Workshops will be held occasionally throughout the year, so there's no pressure (except when you're blowing your instrument!) Students at any level can sharpen their skills in the areas of:

  • Breathing
  • Posture
  • Sound Production
  • Attitudes - why they matter
  • Enrichment -  where to go
  • Next steps
