Write and record your own original song! Students will learn about the process of crafting a song from scratch, arranging it, and making a studio recording. At the end of the workshop, students will take home a CD of their very own recorded original song. THIS IS A WEEK-LONG DAY CAMP, MORNING/AFTERNOON

This week-long camp will be instructed by Mike Mercey of the Sound Factory Music School faculty. Mike is a professional session musician and has several production credits to his name. To hear sample recordings done by Mike, visit the album launch site for recording artist Christa Mercey, who's "Floorboards" EP was entirely recorded on the studio equipment that will be used during this camp.
