Sarah joined The Sound Factory Music School faculty in 2006 and teaches oboe, piano, theory, and Music for Young Children.
Sarah can be found performing with ensembles throughout Southern Ontario. She performs regularly with the Stratford Symphony, the KW Chamber Orchestra, Spiritus Ensemble, and Arcady Ensemble. She has also performed with the KW Symphony, Open Ears Festival, Elora Festival Singers, Da Capo Chamber Choir, Grand Philharmonic Chamber Choir, Niagara Symphony, and the Jeans ‘n Classics Orchestra, and was principal oboe with the Kamloops Symphony. Sarah holds a Master of Music degree from the University of British Columbia. She also studied at the Vancouver Academy of Music and McGill University. As well, she has completed specialized training as an MYC instructor. Sarah was as a member of the National Youth Orchestra and has participated in music festivals at the Banff Centre for the Arts, Domaine Forget, Bowdoin Summer Music Festival and the Chautauqua Institute. Sarah loves the diversity her work brings and enjoys sharing her passion with others.
