Rock Band Summer Camp (1/2 Day)

12:30pm—4:30pm
For Ages 12-16 (Max 6 per group*)
*Campers should know the major scale and basic techniques of their instrument. 1+years of lessons recommended
In a week-long half-day camp, students will learn 2 rock songs on their instruments, and how to put it together with other musicians for an end-of-the-week show!
Group playing offers musicians a whole other set of skills than just private lessons alone:
Teamwork & Role-Playing.
Listening & Communication
Cooperation & Compromise.
Reinforced Learning & Enhanced Motivation.
Builds Focus, Self-Esteem & Confidence, Helps Overcome Shyness, & Encourages Self-Expression.
Practicing endlessly in your room helps you build skill but then what?

—songs by ear
—song elements
—role-playing in a group effort
—jamming is fun!
Most importantly, playing music together is a lot of fun!
