Acoustic & Electric Guitar
|
Joe has been playing acoustic and electric guitar for over 20 years, and
has taught students for over 10 years. He embraces a variety of
styles from Rock/Alt to Jazz to Blues to Country to Bluegrass and
anything in between. A true student of the instrument, his ability to
break down and communicate the art of guitar for students at any level
and learning style, as well as his patient and nurturing approach with
students has won him a distinguished reputation as an instructor.
Joe has played professionally for half of his life in a variety of bands. He is currently the keyboardist for indie alternative recording artists "Sexdwarf" as well as the lead guitarist for the Canadian indie roots/rock artists "King Roller," who have performed across the province , (notably at the 2011 North by Northeast festival, the Kitchener Blues Festival, and at the Craft Beer Festival at the C.N.E., where they shared a stage with major Canadian recording artists "The Trews".) The band is currently at work recording their 2nd studio album. Joe has also played alongside notable artists such as Jay Semko, founding member of the Northern Pikes, and has collaborated with numerous other musicians and projects in the Kitchener-Waterloo area and across Ontario. Joe is an original founding faculty member; he has taught guitar at the Sound Factory Music School since 2005. |
Joe would love to meet you! Let's get started. |
